Ember is an initiative developed by Enactus Camosun to equip youth, specifically those in Grade 5, with essential knowledge and skills in social entrepreneurship. Through interactive and engaging learning experiences, Ember fosters a nurturing environment that empowers young minds to achieve both personal and business success.
We believe that every kid has equal access to quality education.

Beginnings
Ember ignited through a collective passion for working with young kids. We wanted to create a project that sparks a lasting fire for elementary school students. Our motto is to empower kids to dream, innovate and lead.

Early Curriculum Test
Ember began as a plan to introduce the world of business and social entrepreneurship to students. In May 2025, a group of 160 grade 5 students arrived for a campus tour hosted by the school of business. This was an exciting step towards bringing Ember to life.

Our Future
We now developing a partnership with community centres for PD-Day programming. Pilot scheme is expected to be launched on Summer 2026. Through our project, we aim to spark the entrepreneurial spirit within elementary students through hands on interactive activities, curious conversations and engaging curriculum
